About:
As a TV / Film composer roger is probably best known for his dramatic theme tune for the BBC1 series '999'. Yet this is just the tip of the iceberg of over 350 commissions, including orchestral scores for Sir David Attenborough, 20 episodes of the BBC / Carnival Films drama series 'BUGS' and 10 episodes of the Russell T. Davies period drama 'The Grand'.
Roger also worked on Hans Zimmer's first Hollywood movie score 'Terminal Exposure' and on the song 'Shakin' the Tree' by Peter Gabriel / Youssou N'Dour.
From 2004 - 2009 Roger lived in the war zone in Northern Uganda (where he was born!) running a small charity, which catered for school fees for formerly abducted child soldiers and girl child victims of the Lord's Resistance Army. He set up one of the first recording studios in Gulu and recorded over 150 songs with local singer / songwriters.
